I appreciate that Lembit is struggling to maintain some sort of popularity, but to simply give more publicity to the BNP does no one other than the BNP any favours.

Nick Griffin is as they say in snooker, 'on a shot to nothing'. If he wins the debate he gains maximum publicity. If he loses the debate as he did last week on Question Time, he merely bemoans the unevenness of the playing field and still gains a certain degree of sympathy. While I completely concur with Lembit's dislike of the BNP, I would completely oppose such a move.
